To Study the Level of Awareness of School Teachers on the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020)

Abstract :
National Education Policy (NEP) 2020recommends a massive reform in education system in India. Present study aims to investigate the level of awareness of school teachers about NEP 2020 on the basis of gender and locality. For the present study, sample collected from 154 school teachers-38 male and 116 female teachers, from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan and Thane. Questionnaire consists of 40 items, was prepared in google form to collect data covering key aspects of NEP-2020. Data was analysed by using Percentage analysis. The analysis shows that the level of awareness among female School Teachers about the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020) is higher than male teachers and the level of awareness of School Teachers from Navi Mumbai on the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020) are higher than Mumbai, Kalyan and Thane.
