Review of Related Literature on Preschool Curriculum and Status of Its Implementation by Government and Private Schools in Mizoram

Abstract :
The main purpose of this research paper is to summarize all the research works done by various researchers on the topic Preschool Curriculum and Status of its Implementation by Government and Private schools. Pre-school stage is known as the critical period since there is a milestone in sensory and brain development. During this period, if a child receives appropriate care and education, it will help in shaping their foundation of life for a long term. The writers have studied and summarised papers from numerous publications, theses, literature reviews, and reviewed books that are available online in order to make this study meaningful and helpful to other researchers. Through the review of related literature, it has been found that the Preschool curriculum implemented by Government and Private schools, address the interrelated domains of various developmental aspects for Holistic development of children belonging three to six years old through integrated and play based approaches.
