Adoption of Technology in Human Resource Development in the Workforce Management of Organisation: A Study on the Impact of A & I and I.T.

Abstract :

Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a dynamic role with its work force in fulfilling the objectives and goals of the Corporate Business Organisation. Human Resources Development is an integral part of H.R.M., which takes initiative in the Recruitment and selection of work force with the support of technology like Artificial intelligence and the computerised assessment of candidates’ worth, suitability and fitness to the job position. Using of emerging technologies in the portfolio management is today’s fashion.
The staff recruited and selected to the positions must be able to perform their duties using the technologies like Information Communication Tools (I.C.T) computerised system, artificial intelligence. The Performance appraisal of workers shall also be assessed with the artificial intelligence.
Mainly the working performance of Software technicians in Software companies completely on the ICT tools, computer system. No Manual work performance, no manual records and no manual assessment. It will be monitored completely with the technology.
Every activity in the corporate organisations is being done through I.T. & I.C.T devices by the H.R with the technical qualifications and practical knowledge. Therefore. The present corporate organisations and Multinational organisations prefer to recruit and select the candidates with the practical computer operation knowledge because their works completely on the computer systems.
This paper examines and studies the functioning of workforce management of the H.R.M in the corporate organisation and their working culture and their assessment of the workers based on the secondary data. Also defines the function of Human Resource Development of H.R.M. in the corporate organisations. The main role of artificial intelligence and Information technology in the routine functions and working performance of the work force also has been discussed.
