The Process and Challenges of Entrepreneurship Development in India

Abstract :
Entrepreneurship plays an important role in the economic and social development of a country. In India, entrepreneurship has become one of the strongest forces for employment generation, innovation, industrial growth, and economic progress. In recent years, many young people have started showing interest in self-employment and startup businesses instead of depending only on traditional jobs. Government support, digital technology, financial institutions, and startup culture have further encouraged entrepreneurship development in India. However, entrepreneurs still face many problems, such as a lack of finance, market competition, business risks, and infrastructure difficulties. This research paper explains the process of entrepreneurship development in India and examines the major challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the modern business environment.
