Bridging Education and Business: Advancing Graduate Research for Workforce Readiness

Author : Venkata Swamy Madasi

Abstract :

The rapid digital transformation of organizations and educational systems has increased reliance on organized technologies, particularly Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructures, while simultaneously exposing them to evolving cybersecurity threats such as Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. This study presents a scalable and resource-efficient framework for detecting DDoS attacks, with a focus on its implications for business continuity, digital learning environments, and organizational resilience. The proposed approach integrates hybrid feature selection techniques with lightweight deep learning models to ensure accurate and timely threat detection in resource-constrained settings. Additionally, the framework incorporates privacy-preserving mechanisms that support distributed data environments commonly found in modern enterprises and educational institutions. Practical evaluation demonstrates that the system achieves high detection accuracy while maintaining low computational overhead, making it suitable for real-world deployment. The findings highlight the importance of adopting intelligent, adaptive security solutions to safeguard digital infrastructures, enhance operational stability, and support sustainable growth in both business and educational domains.
