Abstract :
A comprehensive study was conducted to evaluate the water quality in Dungarpur district and its associated risks to human health. The findings revealed that the region's groundwater is contaminated with fluoride, primarily due to the presence of naturally occurring fluoride-rich rock salt formations. The focus of the physicochemical analysis was to assess the water's suitability for various uses, such as drinking and irrigation. The results of this investigation aim to raise awareness about the potential health risks linked to the consumption of fluoride-contaminated water, particularly the development of fluorosis.
