Abstract :
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar has made it possible for women to receive an education, exercise their right to vote, and become independent. He is strongly committed to equality and strong support for women's rights in India. He pushed tenaciously for maternity benefits because he recognized their significance in mainstream India in the 1920s. He pushed for social justice and brotherhood. He waged a ferocious campaign for women's rights and worked nonstop to see that they were fully realized.
The sections of the Indian Constitution relating to gender equality and women's education will be covered in this paper. This paper will also focus on the Ambedkar-proposed Hindu Code Bill and Maternity Bill.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar argued for their inclusion in contemporary society after recognizing the gender imbalance that existed in Indian society. He improved and empowered women by enacting numerous clauses in the Indian Constitution, giving women the same position as men.
According to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the largest issue in Indian society is the under education of women. Following independence, women were liberated from societal norms. Higher education became a reality when the Constitution established the right to education. India's Constitution specifies that all children must attend school.
The Hindu Code bill amply demonstrated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s deep concern for women's place in Indian society. It includes a chapter on justice and equality for women as well as a way out of orthodox ancient law. The goal of the legislation was to grant women complete property rights. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar talks about maternity benefits, and the importance of birth was extremely pertinent to valuing women's dignity. He was a fervent advocate of the maternity approach.
