Determinants of Profitability of Selected Asset Finance Companies in India

Abstract :
The study focusses to determine the impact of specific financial parameters (like liquidity, solvency and efficiency) on the profitability of Asset Finance Companies. The study conveniently selects 14 Asset Finance Companies listed on Bombay stock exchange. The study is fully based on secondary data collected for a period of seventeen years from 2006-2022. Panel regression analysis was done. The regression results demonstrate a positive significant impact of solvency and efficiency on profitability; however, liquidity has no significant influence on profitability.
