Awareness and Use of NLIST E-Resources among PG Students of Dr. Shivarama Karantha Government First Grade College Bellare D.K.: A Study

Abstract :
E-resources are playing very important role in higher education. The project of INFLIBNET Center for E-resources is NLIST. This study has made an attempt for use and awareness of NLIST e-resources among PG students of Dr. Shivarama Karantha Government First College. For data collection structured question papers prepared using Google form and sent through e-mail for 50 PG students. The objectives of the study is purpose of using e-resources, problems while accessing e-resources and requirement of user education for better utilization of e-resources. The study finds that where orientation programs have been timely conducted along with technological infrastructure and further the government should appoint professionally qualified library staff to the college it leads to the increase the utilization of NLIST program.
