Author : Dr. Ruhul Amin and Abul Kashem
Abstract :
Women empowerment is an essential factor for achieving social justice and sustainable development in India. This study examines women's empowerment through their participation in social, economic, and political spheres. Social participation helps women gain awareness, confidence, and leadership skills within communities. Economic participation provides financial independence through employment, entrepreneurship, and self-help groups. Political participation enables women to engage in governance and decision-making. The study is based on secondary sources, including books, journals, and reports. The findings indicate that active participation in these areas enhances women’s status and contributes significantly to family welfare, community development, and national progress in India.
