Abstract :
Women’s economic empowerment in rural areas is crucial for sustainable development and gender equality. This abstract delves into the importance of promoting women's employment in rural settings, leveraging their skills and talents to uplift their socioeconomic status and overall well-being. Rural women possess unique abilities that, if harnessed effectively, can contribute significantly to economic growth, particularly in developing countries where their potential remains largely untapped. However, women entrepreneurs encounter numerous gender-based barriers that hinder their ability to start and grow businesses. These barriers include challenges related to property inheritance, discriminatory laws and regulations, and limited access to formal finance mechanisms. Additionally, women face obstacles in accessing education, training, and information, further impeding their economic empowerment.
To address these challenges, our group developed a website aimed at providing rural women with a platform for employment based on their skills, talents, and determination to work. This website serves as a bridge, enabling women from rural areas to connect with opportunities in urban settings and showcase their talents to a wider audience. Utilizing various programming languages, literature surveys, and insights from elderly individuals, we meticulously crafted the project to ensure its effectiveness. The final outcome of our project is the successful participation of rural women with remarkable skills, who have come forward to showcase their hidden talents. Through the platform provided by the website, these women have not only achieved profits but also garnered respect and equality within their communities. Despite the challenges encountered, our dedicated efforts have culminated in the creation of a functional website that highlights the skills and contributions of rural women to society, paving the way for their economic empowerment and social recognition.
