India’s G20 Presidency as a Watershed Moment for India and World

Abstract :
The G20 summit is an important platform for global economic cooperation and coordination. It is also an international mechanism for governance of global economy. It provides an opportunity for the world's leading economies to come together and discuss issues of global concern and importance. The G20 summit is also an important forum for India to promote its economic agenda, and to ensure that its interests are considered in global economic decision-making. India's G20 presidency has been an important step in promoting India's economic agenda, and in ensuring that India's voice and voice of the unheard countries is heard in global economic discussions.
The G20 summits focus on a wide range of global issues, including overall development, climate change, energy, health, counter-terrorism, migration, and refugees. India’s G20 priority will be to continue working for reformed multilateralism that creates a more accountable, inclusive, just, equitable, and representative multipolar international system that can address the challenges in the 21st century. It is pertinent to understand that the G20 platform will also build women empowerment to help them to grow holistically. So, India’s role in it needs to be unfolded at every level to gather a larger understanding and relevance.
