Disentangling the Effects of Climate Change on Predator-Prey Dynamics in Temperate Forest Ecosystems
Author : PB Sirsat
Abstract :
Amid the escalating threats of climate change, this research seeks to understand its effects on predator-prey dynamics within temperate forest ecosystems. By examining specific regions in these forests, we employed longitudinal monitoring of both predator and prey populations, coupled with climate data analyses. Our findings reveal distinct shifts in predator-prey interactions, seemingly correlated with observed climatic changes. This study underscores the potential long-term impacts of climate change on ecosystem balance and highlights areas for further exploration and conservation intervention.
