Abstract :
Raman Spectroscopy diagnosing normal and malignant human breast tissues. It has been widely used as an important clinical tool for real-time in vivo cancer diagnosis. Raman information can be obtained from organisms and tissues at the cellular and biomolecule level. This paper aims to review the newest development of Raman Spectroscopy in the field of breast cancer diagnosis. Raman Spectroscopy can distinguish malignant and normal tissues and can assess tumor margin. At the biomolecular level, the surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopic technique may help to detect the biomolecular on the tumor surface. Raman images reveal a homogeneous distribution of different compounds, especially proteins, lipids, and microbial metabolic products in cancerous tissues. This review provides an overview of the theory of Raman Spectroscopy instrumentation for measurement and variation of Raman Spectra techniques for breast cancer detection.
