Madrasah Head Supervision Model in Improving Teacher Professionalism in Man 1 Kediri City Indonesia

Abstract :
This research is motivated by supervision has an important role for teachers in the world of education. Realizing teacher professionalism in the learning process is inseparable from the principal's participation, especially the role in the field of academic supervision to improve teacher competence and performance in the learning process. This needs to be done considering that the quality of education and learning are the main assets. The methodology used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, review with key informants as the principal and additional informants as supporting data, documentation and triangulation. Then analyze, and test the validity of the data and conclusions. The results showed that the role of the head of MAN 1 Kediri City provided a supervision model using a clinical supervision model. The head of the madrasah uses this supervision as a guidance process in education. It aims to assist teachers in developing their potential in teaching recognition through observation and data analysis objectively and meticulously as a basis for changing teacher teaching behavior.
