Conducive Environment for Outcome Based Education

Abstract :
Outcome-based education (OBE) is an educational approach that emphasizes defining specific learning outcomes or goals for students and assessing their achievement of these outcomes. This approach shifts the focus from simply covering a prescribed curriculum to ensuring that students acquire the knowledge, skills, and competencies that are necessary for their personal and professional development. The paper highlights the reasons why outcome-based education could be crucial for the development and improvement of the Indian education system especially in the light of National Education Policy, 2020.
